The Woodbury Middle School Twirling Team
made their competition debut
on Saturday, May 18th, 2013 at
The Las Vegas Tournament of Champions
winning 2-1st place trophies
and executing a no drop routine.
Great job girls!!!
The competition team was comprised of 7-6th grade students who all began twirling during the current school year, 4 of them during the second semester. The routine was a modified version of their parade routine which the girls worked on perfecting two afternoons a week for the month prior to the competition. |

The Woodbury Middle School Twirling Team began practicing early February, 2012. Their batons arrived the end of the month when they began full-fledged practice up to 4 times per week.
KLAS channel 8 featured the team on their Friday, April 13th, 2012 "What's Cool at School" segment.
